Hello all! Photo editing is great for making funny images. In this article, I will be talking about two great online photo editing tools. First up, Kleki. You can use Kleki to edit, layer, and crop photos, as well as to draw on images. To use it, go to kleki.com. On the top right corner, select the file icon and upload a downloaded image. Import it as a layer, and have fun! You can draw on the image and even overlap it with other images! Once your drawing is finished, click the save icon (next to the file icon) to save the image. A YouTube video will be attached at the bottom of the article for you to further explore Kleki. Next is Photomosh. Photomosh is used for distorting and glitching images. You can head to photomosh.com, upload a photo there, and glitch it as much as you want. Some of these effects aren't stagnant, so you can turn a photo into a GIF. Now, time to harness the full power of these tools. It's time to use them both! First, upload your image to Kleki and edit it. Draw on it, crop it, or layer it with another image. Step two, upload it to Photomosh to distort/glitch it. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Time for a competition! The best edited image will be featured in the next article. Send your image/GIF to [email protected], and it might be selected! Have fun editing! Tutorials: Sources:

What can you do with AI? “AI, or artificial intelligence, is a branch of computer science that deals with the creation of intelligent agents, which are systems that can reason, learn, and act autonomously. AI research has been highly successful in developing effective techniques for solving a wide range of problems, from game playing to medical diagnosis. AI is already having a major impact on our world, and its importance is only going to grow in the years to come. AI is being used to develop new products and services in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, transportation, and finance. AI is also being used to solve some of the world's most pressing problems, such as climate change and poverty.” That was written by Bard, an AI experiment by Google. You just witnessed the power of AI; imagine the possibilities of harnessing this technology! The AI made by OpenAI (the creators of Chat GPT), DALL-E, can understand text, and reply with an image. For example, If I asked DALL-E for a gummy bear driving a car, It would give me an image of a gummy bear driving a car. It’s incredible! From the autocorrect that occurs while texting, to the search engines you use every day, Artificial Intelligence is everywhere. Now, you might be asking yourself, “What is the activity for this edition?” Just hang tight, I’m getting there. Now that you have a basic understanding of what AI is, I think it's time you use one yourself. Head over to bard.google.com and ask it anything (just don’t ask it to do your homework). The most creative/funny response from Bard will be featured in the next edition! Just email your reply to [email protected]. Now that you have read this article, I hope you have a greater appreciation for what's powering your autocorrect! Sources: bard.google.com |
